Bridge Builders provides experiential education that empowers students with valuable life skills.

BRIDGES facilitates dynamic, fun, and flexible workshops, trainings, and experiences in schools and organizations across the greater Memphis area. We cover a wide range of topics centered on 21st-century competency skills to meet your programming needs, and we offer tiered engagement options to best support you in achieving your goals.

Our Youth Programming Focuses On:

  • Community Building
    • Learn how to be an active and engaged member of your own community.
    • Experience fun activities that foster cooperation, build empathy, and enhance your sense of belonging.
  • Financial Literacy
    • Let’s learn about money! Gain knowledge that will help you make better decisions about your finances now and in the future.
    • Prepare youth with practical financial skills they can use immediately and for life by building foundational knowledge, practicing informed decision-making about money, learning healthy financial habits, and understanding how today’s choices impact their future.
  • Leadership Development
    • Learn to lead — in any situation. Experience new scenarios and activities that build the emotional and social skills to be the best leader you can be.
    • Equip youth with the tools to strengthen their leadership capacity through intentional skill-building and real-world application, focusing on communication, collaboration, decision-making, and self-awareness. Participants build confidence, learn to take initiative, and embrace responsibility—skills that support academic success, positive school culture, and long-term personal and communal growth.
  • Self Discovery and Wellness
    • Who are you? What do you think and feel? Let’s dive into our personalities — the best parts and the hard parts — so we can be confident and happy as our true selves.
    • Support youth in building self-awareness, self-love, emotional regulation, and stress-management skills that directly support focus, resilience, and healthy decision-making and positive classroom communities.
  • Conflict Resolution
    • Conflicts with friends, family, or coworkers can be hard. Here, we’ll learn the best way to navigate challenging situations in order to get the best outcome for all.
    • Empower youth with practical skills like clear communication, emotional regulation, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Youth will learn to consider multiple perspectives, navigate interpersonal challenges with peers and family members, and work toward positive outcomes for long-term social and academic success.
  • Civic Education and Justice
    • Your role as a citizen is more important than ever. Learn how to be an active advocate for social justice and make an impact on your community, city, and beyond.
    • Builds youth’s understanding of civic responsibility, advocacy, and social awareness through practicing constructive dialogue, understanding systems and community structures, and taking informed action on issues that matter—supporting responsible citizenship, leadership development, and meaningful community impact.
