CONNECT

Short term events that can make a long term impact.

Connect is a good point of entry to BRIDGES. You’ll get a sample of the community BRIDGES builds, but without a long term commitment.
Open to grades 6-12.

Participate in a workshop for small groups or in large-scale events built to help participants talk about community issues, learn personal strengths and figure out ways to apply them to make our community stronger.
How can you CONNECT? Your group can take advantage of new, BRIDGES-developed Justice Workshops throughout the year, or come to one of our well established CONNECT Events like the Gandhi-King Youth Conference, Dr. King Day or Spring Break For Change.

CONNECT EVENTS

JUSTICE WORKSHOPS

200+ PARTICIPANTS

20 TO 80 PARTICIPANTS

Join other youth to build on your personal strengths and recognize how you can influence your community. Diverse young people from across Memphis come together for four large scale CONNECT events each year.

BRIDGES staff lead you through dynamic, hands-on activities that help you become a part of a community of youth leaders building bridges across the Mid-South.

New CONNECT Justice Workshops give you and a group of your peers—classmates, youth group members, teammates-- a chance to become Bridge Builders.

We’ve built these four hour programs to prepare youth from around the Mid-South to talk about community issues, learn personal strengths and figure out ways to them to make our community stronger. Your group can come to BRIDGES or our team can come to you.
