BRIDGES to the Power of 10

BRIDGES works every day to enrich Memphis by building a community of leaders to advance racial, economic, educational and environmental justice. All of our hands-on, experiential programs are designed to equip participants with the skills and tools they need to be leaders in our community. And it’s all possible thanks to the generous support of our donors.

BRIDGES is introducing a new campaign for 2010: BRIDGES to the Power of 10. The goal of BRIDGES to the Power of 10 is to increase our donor base by 100 percent by June 30, 2010 and to increase awareness of BRIDGES and its programs in Memphis. If we can secure 550 new donors by June 30, an anonymous donor will contribute a $100,000 gift to BRIDGES! The Power of 10 campaign co-chairs are: Mario Hendrix, Director of Bridge Builders (pictured at left) ; and Darrell Cobbins (pictured at right), a member of the BRIDGES Board of Trustees.

Here’s what you can do to help:

-Make a donation of any amount to BRIDGES to the Power of 10 here.
-Recruit YOUR Power of 10 by asking ten of your friends to get involved and make a donation
-Encourage your Power of 10 to develop their own Power of 10

Today, BRIDGES programs serve more than 15,000 youth and adults who are courageously working to become leaders in our community. 80% of all gifts go directly to our programs. Gifts from donors to the BRIDGES to the Power of 10 Campaign will help BRIDGES ensure that all program participants continue to thrive in our programs, regardless of their ability to pay.
